Exercise 6
Weather Icon Set
Description
Choose 5 of the following weather conditions – sunny, cloudy, partly cloudy, rain, snow, sleet, fog, storm, smoke – and create an icon to represent each one. The icons can be abstract or representative but must look like they belong together as a set. Each icon should be designed at no larger than 50x50px but the final set should be added to a single frame that is 1440x800.
There are many design decisions that go in to making a set of icons look like they go together. Consider the amount of positive and negative space each icon uses, the line weights, scale, color, illustration style, etc. All those decisions work together to make an individual icon feel like it is part of a larger set.
